New Environmental Commercial Brings Back Familiar Tag Line
The Cotton Research & Promotion Program is proud to announce the launch of a new television commercial that brings back the highly-recognized tag line and theme song: “The touch, the feel of cotton; THE FABRIC OF OUR LIVES®.”
Making its grand television debut during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the commercial will continue to be heavily broadcasted through the end of the year and in 2008. It is part of a multi-dimensional advertising campaign that includes Internet billboards and trade print advertisements to remind consumers that cotton is, indeed, natural and the environmentally-friendly choice when purchasing fiber-made products.
The advertisements include a variation of the well-known Seal of Cotton trademark that incorporates the word “Natural”. Not only just appearing in these advertisements, the new green trademark is being offered by Cotton Incorporated to retailers and brands as a marketing tool to promote their 100 percent cotton products. The approach is indicative of the organization’s ongoing commitment to reduce the cotton industry’s environmental footprint and educate others that cotton is a natural fiber.
